We design & manufacture thin, flexible, LED illuminated lightguide products. These use a manufacturing process and optical lightguide structures developed and patented by Design LED..

Parts are custom designed to meet OEM customers needs, maximize the lighting effect, minimize the system costs and easily integrate into the end product.

Core competences

• Design of thin flat lightguides with LED light sources, typically less than 1mm

• Uniform illumination levels (70%+)

• Illumination of capacitive and membrane switches

• Design of segmented lightguide products, each segment having independent illumination control and optical isolation from its neighbour

• Knowledge of range of lightguide construction techniques - to optimize cost, performance, flexibility

• Manufacture of lightguides through our subcontract manufacture & licensee network
